Senior Portrait Dates!
Parents/Guardians of 2011 graduating seniors: mark your calendars for the senior portrait dates this summer.
Our school photographer, Roots Studios, will be at South June 16 - 18, June 21 - 25, and June 28 - July 2.
Details will be mailed from Roots Studios early in June.
Remember, if you opt to have your senior's portrait taken from a photographer other than Roots Studios,
you still must have a portrait taken from Roots Studio in order to be in the yearbook.
We cannot accept portraits from other photographers.
All your senior needs to do is make an appointment to pop into school
during the portrait dates for their yearbook pic - no purchase necessary.

General Information |
The Yearbook is the club that captures school memories and records them in one place: the school yearbook. We are a club that is very proud to produce such a keepsake. We dedicate hours of time from the first day of school through graduation to ensure a late summer delivery of the book.

Eligibility Requirements |
Interested students must be familiar with the use of a digital camera and must also have use of a computer at home since the book is created using an online program. Interested students must also be able to attend once a week meetings after school for approximately 30 minutes.

Joining Procedures |
Interested students must complete an application available from Mrs. Burns or Mrs. Deodhar. Applications are also available in the yearbook room which is just before the entrance to the school library. Applications are accepted during the first weeks of school.

Time Commitment |
We are extremely dependent upon meeting publication deadlines. This means staff members will need to work on the yearbook during study halls, during yearbook meetings and at home. All staff members are responsible for photographing school events as well as interviewing students for quotes. We are a 24/7 club!

Meets |
The club meets every week after school on Tuesdays. During this time, yearbook staff members receive and turn in weekly assignments as well as receive feedback from the yearbook editors. These meetings are mandatory.
